Tomorrow Trust Bursaries 2024

 

Tomorrow Trust is inviting students for their comprehensive bursary allocated to the upcoming academic year and it covers the following:

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Students willing to apply for the Tomorrow Trust Undergrad Bursary must abide by the following criteria:

 

Must be a citizen of South Africa

The candidate must be between 18 to 25 years of age

Must be pursuing a full-time Undergraduate degree or honors degree.

Must NOT be a Masters or Ph.D. student

Must be pursuing a degree or intend to pursue a degree at one of the institutions – Rhodes, UP, UCT, Stellenbosch, UJ, and WITS.

Graduates who complete or have completed their undergraduate between Jan 2021 and Dec 2023.

The FirstRand Foundation Trust Undergraduate Bursary 2024

The FirstRand Foundation Trust Undergraduate Bursary for the upcoming study year is now open for applicants. It funds degree programmes for the disciplines of commerce, engineering, science, and technology. 

 

Eligibility Criteria
The Trust awards the bursary to students who meet the following criteria:

You must be a Black South African citizen
You must not be older than 21 years in your first year of study
You must have applied for and you have been provisionally admitted into a South African public traditional university for full-time studies in the degrees stated above
You must have obtained a minimum of level 5 for Mathematics in Grade 12
You must belong to the missing middle and should be able to prove that your combined annual gross family income is in the slab of R350,000 and R600,000.
You must be currently in Grade 12 or you have completed Grade 12 not more than 3 years ago.

Astron Energy 2024 Bursary

The bursary scheme forms part of Astron Energy's commitment to skills development, meaningful socio-economic transformation, and the country’s broader development agenda.

 

The sponsorship offers the following:

 

Full bursaries to attend ANY registered higher education institution covering tuition, textbooks, accommodation, food, and other approved necessities.

On-going psycho-social support provided by Excel@Uni.

Light-touch mentorship for developing essential skills imperative for personal and professional growth.

The goal is to fund students in the following faculties: Commerce, Science, Engineering & Built Environment.

 

WHO CAN APPLY

 

Applicants must be under 35 years of age.

Applicants must be South African citizens.

Applicants must be pursuing a FULL-TIME qualification (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, Masters, Etc)

Applicants must be pursuing their qualification-level for the first time (ie, not repeating a degree, honours, etc)

Applicants must be pursuing a qualification or intending to pursue a qualification at any tertiary institution registered with DHET and SAQA. (This includes private/community colleges and TVETS)

Siza Water Bursary 

 

The Siza Water Youth & Community Development Fund (YCDF) supports projects within its service area. The YCDF works closely with local communities, schools, NGO’s and other non-profit organisations within Siza Water’s service area to identify projects that serve the purpose of uplifting the poorest of poor and providing hope and light to them. the Siza Water Youth & Community Development Fund (YCDF) that supports projects within its service area.
